The nurses hold morning, afternoon and evening sessions and will help you with many things including:- Immunisations Ear Syringing Removal of Stitches Self-examination advice Cervical Smears Injections Dressings Travel Advice ECGs General Health Advice Appointments can be made with the nurses without seeing the doctor and they are always available to give advice.

Healthcare Assistants

Sue and Karen are our healthcare assistants and are available Monday to Friday mornings and Monday afternoon.  They can provide a wide range of services including blood tests, health checks, ECGs, flu injections for over 65s, ear syringing and assisting the GPs with minor surgery procedures.  Appointments can be made with the healthcare assistants without seeing the doctor first.

We have two phlebotomists in the surgery who can perform blood tests.  They have clinics spread throughout the week in the mornings.  Both our phlebotomists are also receptionists at the surgery and have received specialist training to be able to take blood.
